**Q: Are these the chilli flakes that have some salt and possibly oil please?  Thank you.**
A: Yes, tthey are more commonly known as Turkish chile peppers. They are processed with a smal amount of oil and salt.Be sure the ones you buy are fresh.Most of them aren't and they taste like sawdust.A good middle eastern or Turkish grocer is your best bet, somewhere they don't sit a year before selling.

**Q: What is the country of origin here? And anyone used this is Turkish Eggs and grilled meat, what do you think of it?**
A: Turkish eggs is the solitary reason I purchased it. It’s a little hotter than authentic Aleppo pepper and whilst it’s ok I wouldn’t buy it again.

**Q: Are they 100% gluten free?**
A: No, says its not gluten free on the packet

**Q: Can this product be used in a peppermill ?**
A: No, they are soft Aleppo chilli flakes.
