I ordered the Aerobie after a lot of frustration throwing standard Frisbee's with my family in the park, or on holiday at the beach. After reading many reviews I put my order in on amazon and received my bright pink Aerobie very quickly. Note that you can't actually order the colour of your preference, you are allocated some random colour, but to be honest, it really doesn't mater - so long as it's highly visible, that's what counts. Super impressed with the ease of throwing, I had my whole family throwing it back and forth, previously they had all failed to be impressed and very quickly lost interest, however, Aerobie park days with my son are scheduled on a regular basis now. Highly recommend, a great activity that is not only enjoyable, but also a good workout. The aerobie lets you enjoyably burn calories with the rest of your family and friends. The really great thing about the Aerobie is that it fly's well even in fairly gusty conditions where a normal Frisbee would be unusable! The even better thing is that even an amateur throwing the Aerobie is made to look like a seasoned pro, effortless and very forgiving, no need to get the expert wrist flick and prefectly angled throw any longer, just launch it and you will be looking like a pro!

TKC Aerobie Pro 13 Inch Flying Ring "Colours May Vary" Bloody Brilliant is all I have to say, at first I just assumed all the story's of it flying so far were over hyped...But no as I threw it I watched as it glided past my sister (nearly 50m away) began to dip down and follow the gradient of the field and just as I thourt to myself, "not bad but a bit over-hyped" it suddenly picked up again from the thermals of the downwards slope and carried on for about another 100m's before being stopped by the hedges at the end of the field! so after retrieving it decided not to through towards the slope in the field any more, and spent about an hour throwing it around, and with its bright colours it even turned a few heads, before having to go home as the rain began to fall! Cant recommend it enough! However on a down side you might need to order two so you have a spare on for when you (and you will) lose it.

I love these super frisbees! As a flying toy these are fantastic, but they do come with a very real warning, and if you don't watch where and how hard your throw it, you will find yourself with a very long walk to collect it. I've managed to throw this over 200m with seemingly little effort. At that distance my dog just gave up chasing it. Get it right and it's great fun - who needs the dog? They are great for really exercising an energetic dog (as long as she will chase it) but I found mine responded better to throwing this along the ground like a wheel. It will go for 150m with little effort depending on the angle you start it off at - and the wind speed/direction. I have managed to get it to roll, at an angle and leaning slightly into the wind (like a sail), for well over 250m before it stopped. If you increase the angle you can get it to do a huge spiral around you which will send your dog into mad loops chasing it. Are these meant for kids, adults or dogs? Who cares: everyone will love it. The only problem is that the edges can get damaged quite easily, especially around dogs, so either buy several at once so you aren't left without your new favourite toy, or keep it away from a chewing dog.

Wow, this thing really goes. Build quality - I can only comment on the ones I have received and they are perfect. Strong inner core surrounded by a layer of soft touch silicone. These are not sharp or dangerous at all. You can catch these by putting your arm through the middle whilst in mid flight and you wont get a scratch. I've even caught a couple by letting my head go through the centre and have the ring rotate around my neck and guess what, my heads still attached! No grazes, scratches or cuts, so if you receive one which is sharp it definitley a manufacturers fault so send it back. Useability - my six year old can make this thing glide at least 60-70 metres. Once you get the right technique the trick is NOT throwing this too far, the one I bought now rests at the bottom of a river due to an overthrow by an 8 year old. Price - you want quality, you pay for quality! Sure you can buy a Frisbee in a pound shop but you can't buy THIS in a pound shop. Its as far from a frisbee as a Ferrari is from a regular car (didn't want to offend anyone). And no I'm not exaggerating! Only problem is you can't select the colour, but if you're willing to look beyond that then its a must buy

Wow. I mean just wow. This thing is absolutely unbelievably incredible. Especially if you're used to throwing a frisbee around for a while like I am. Throwing this after being used to a Frisbee is like stepping into a high performance racing car vs a road car. The sensation is so different and so much better I can't overstate it enough. This thing is SMOOTH, it is effortless, it is super accurate and it goes FAR. FAR as in FAR. I don't doubt for a second that this thing set the world record (1300+ feet) in optimal conditions. For average throwers like the rest of us this thing is tons of fun on a large field. I played with it with my wife and we were so far apart that we couldn't even hear each other properly but we were easily able to make it reach each other. Bottom line: This thing sets a whole new standard in flying rings and once you've tried it you will never ever go back to a regular frisbee. Its almost illegal how effective this thing is at what its supposed to do. Can't recommend it enough. Wow.

This is broken within minutes - very disappointing

I played with the disc with my father and we had a good time and fun time too. Before I ordered and get this I had one Frisbee disc. It was different from my friend's who bought it from TARGET. It was a green disc so I decided to buy new one and bought it because my old frisbee was green and hard to see it because og grass, trees and bushes so that is why it was hard to see it so I needed a new frisbee disc. So I ordered it. I bought 2 discs. I got a yellow and magenta discs. When I ordered it I hoped that I did not get a yellow disc because I thought it will be hard to see it because of the sun. I didn't know if that was true. We did played it on a sunny day and we used a yellow disc. It was fine and we could see it on a sunny day. ( Yellow and Magenta disc on it say ( AEROBIE PRO RING and have some instruction on the ring ) and my old frisbee disc green that just say Frisbee Disc on the ring that it.. I think it differ producer the green one not AEROBIE PRO RING like that it was differ.. I really like it AEROBIE PRO RING IS BETTER than my old disc!!! ) I was really impressed and surprised when I saw how much farther it went. It went really farther than my old green disc. It was different and also when we threw the disc somtimes it went at the same level, sometimes it went higher then it changed and went lower and it still moved forward. Sometimes it moved higher then it stopped at that place and started to drop. It was easy to know and noticed if I needed to go backwards or forwards to catch it. And also it's true that it went faster than my old one. Also one time my father threw the disc and it went farther and closer to my other neighbor's house is front door and a little girl came out the door and saw the disc coming and she looked away blocked it with her arms. I thought that was funny! When I saw that happened and I laughed so hard. Also another time I threw the disc and my father didn't pay attention when I threw it. Then he looked at me and he said "Where is it?" and then he finally found it. He ran but it was too late. It passed him and it hit the car on the right side and rebounded off the car and went across the street and landed on the grass on left side! ( Ring is RUBBER and it won't stratch on the car ) It could rebound but my old one couldn't rebound! That sometimes happened to my old green one. It would hit a car then it landed on the street, driveway or other place where the car was. Also one time my father made a bad threw too low and it hit the street and it did rebound but did not go farther and longer just rebound a little bit. When that happened to me the car went farther after it hit the csr. Also many times when the disc landed and hit street it started to roll a little bit for a long time. I really liked it better than my old one and I would buy it again when I will need a new one... Also I played by myself I want to see how farther it went I threw the disc at corner and the street look like T that I threw disc and it landed on the 4th house!! That farther!! ( Also when I got this and saw booklet it say that world's record is 1,333 ft ( 409 m) WOW THAT REALLY FARTHER!! ( If you or other other first time play frisbee disc better go and play in safe play like in park or other that have big area and can play avoid from trees and other because it can be stuck in the tree!! If you do the right way then it fly good but if you did wrong way and it went curve or really higher and can be stuck in the tree.. That not happened to us but that happened when I played with my brother's friends both of his friends want to play and they dont know how to do it and they did not wrong way and it was stucked in the tree 2 times!! Last time the disc stucked in the tree in almost top very very tall tree!! And we cant reach it and about 1 week later it went fall down because of windy and it was middle and finally we can reach it.. Right now is second time yellow disc is stuck in the tree again and same tree about middle a little bit higher!! Wait it will fall when it windy or storm... When my father, friends, others and I played it sometimes stuck in the tree but it lower and we can reach and get it! Not same as happened to my brother's friends and we cant reach it!! ) So be careful when you play it.. If you know how to do and play it then you will be fine... We know how to do it and we not get like that stuck in the tree and cant reach it... If you dont know how to do it.. My suggestion first go play safe area like park or other that have big area so you can practice when you get it and know how to do it then you can play it on the street or need big area... Not good like in backyard need big area or on street fine ( We usually play on the street ) because it really went farther!!! Also You can catch it by one hand, two hands, use your arm go into the disc, and other. I usually use my arm go into the disc to catch it. My father did it one time he did it catch disc with his leg into the shoe. LOL that was funny I never saw that before and now first time he did it. I never do it yet and now I did tried it but I didn't make it yet. I played it with my father and saw my neighbor friend and I said to him "Come on, do you want to play?" Then he said "OK" and he joined and played with us. He liked it and I said "We will play again..." My father and I played it almost everyday. Later on another day I saw my other neighbor friend. I showed him and he said "COOL, I will play with you some day..." My friends, family and I like it!!! And also I brought it to school and showed some of my friends and teachers. They liked it too and they said that they will buy one one too... I noticed that many of my friends, family, school teachers, and others liked it and want to buy it... So I am sure that you will like it too so you should buy one... Also I really recommend this disc to anyone who who likes to play throw and catch a frisbee. They should buy it!!!
