## Overview

Cuplex Verruca Gel is a clinically proven topical treatment designed to eliminate verrucas, warts, corns, and calluses. Featuring a potent blend of 11% salicylic acid and 4% lactic acid, it softens hard skin and targets the virus beneath. The gel dries to form a waterproof, elastic film, allowing uninterrupted daily activities including swimming without the need for plasters. Suitable for adults and children over 2 years, Cuplex requires just one daily application and typically clears skin issues within 6 to 12 weeks.

## Description

Product Description Cuplex Verruca Gel is a topical treatment for verrucas, Cuplex Gel works by forming an elastic, waterproof seal over the affected area, avoiding unsighltly dressings and enabling swimming to continue without restriction. The active ingredients salicylic acid and lactic acid work by sofetening the hard skin growth, making it easier to remove with a pumice stone or emery board and help to kill the virus that causes warts and verrucas. Cuplex Gel is suitable for use by adults, the elderly and children over 2 years. Children under 12 should be treated under supervision and treatment of infants under 2 years is not recommended. Indications Cuplex Gel is a topical treatment for warts, verrucas, calluses and corns P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); Ingredients salicyclic Acid 11% w/w and Lactic Acid 4% w/w. Also contains collodion, colophony, venice turpentine and ethanol (96%) Directions To use Cuplex Gel, follow these instructions once every day, usually in the evening. Carry on using the gel in this way until the callus, corn, verruca or wart disappears. 1) Soak the callus, corn, wart or verruca in warm water for 2-3 minutes. 2) Dry the area thoroughly with your own towel - this towel should only be used by you for the affected sites only. 3) Carefully apply 1 or 2 drops of Cuplex Gel to the callus, corn, verruca or wart and allow to dry over the surface. It will form a water resistant clear, brown film over the affected site. 4) Take care to avoid spreading onto normal healthy surrounding skin. If you use too much gel, wipe off any excess with a tissue and if necessary wash the area. No sticking plaster is required. 5) The next evening remove the clear brown gel and reapply directly over the affected area and leave to dry. 7) Once every week, rub away the corn, callus, verruca or wart surface carefully with an emery board or pumice stone. Do not let any one else use the emery board or pumice stone to avoid spreading infection to them. 8) Replace the cap on the Cuplex Gel tube tightly and wash hands thoroughly after use. It is important that you use Cuplex Gel regularly and correctly every night, the length of treatment will depend on the size and resistance of the corn, callus, verruca or wart - it will take between 6-12 weeks for most to disappear. If the con, callus, verruca or wart gets worse or does not disappear within 12 weeks of treatment, ask your GP for advice. Safety Warning Cuplex Gel is for external use only and must not be taken by mouth. Do not use if you are allergic to salicylic acid, lactic acid or any other of the ingredients in Cuplex gel, if you are diabetic or suffer from poor blood circulation or to your hands or feet, do not use anywhere on or near the face, armpits, breasts, bottom or genital area, birthmarks, moles, warts with hairs growing from them, facial warts or any other spots. Keep away from normal healthy skin, and keep gel away from eyes, nose, mouth and any broken skin, cuts and grazes. The gel is volatile and highly flammable. Do not use near flames or ignition sources. Avoid inhaling the vapour from the gel. Not reccommended for use in children under 2 years. If pregnant or breast feeding, ask doctor or pharmacy for advice before using this product. If any pain or discomfort should occur whilst using this product, cease using immediately and seek advice from your doctor. Box Contains 1 x tube Cuplex Gel 5g See more

Review: Gives hope to everyone out there - Hi! I hope all my experiences written below will help someone!! Two things you will read in other reviews and are NOT TRUE: 1. It is painful - no, it is not. It is the only product I tried that was completely pain-free, which is amazing. (I tried two acidic drops that literally burned a hole in my palm but did not effect the verruca.) Read the reviews, one guy even used this on his junk - still, no pain. 2. It's not working - for some, it takes only 4 days, for most it is 2 or 3 weeks, but it can take up to 6 weeks. I have been using it for months now, the verruca has shrunk a lot, DO NOT GIVE UP. Be persistent, it's worth it. The instructions are ridiculously easy to follow: soak the verruca in water for at least 3 mins, dry it and apply the cream once a day, before going to bed. Remove the dried layer next night before repeating the whole process. If someone can't do that, sure, it's not gonna work and this is on them. Be careful though, as it really does destroy healthy skin and is hard to apply only on the verruca, as it becomes smaller. You can use vaseline for extra protection. It is essentially important that you DO need to cut the skin around the verruca. I did not know that and it made the whole area very swollen, but by cutting it around, it actually calmes the skin and it will make the verruca shrink. The internet is full of advices on home remedies you could use - I tried a lot and they either did not work or proved to be incredibly painful (as well). Garlic under duct tape is a very bad idea. Banana peel did not seem to work. Duct tape works for some but if it's on your hand, you can't seal it properly so air gets through and others will see it. :S Vinegar can mess up your skin badly, but I do recommend it. Here's what I did: Used the cream daytime (yes, for many of us this works way better! this way your skin is protected against bacteria during the day, and at nighttime it can calm down and breathe. You can then review the results in the morning.) For weeks now, I soak it in a water-vinegar 50/50 solution. Put it in a bottle with a very small opening, turned it upside down, so only the verruca gets it (into the face, yo!). Ten minutes a day, before bedtime. It helps, but every now and then you need to skip a day or two and let the skin calm. One more important thing: if your skin doesn't calm down, still puffy and inflamed after two days of rest - soak a cotton ball in Betadine and cover with surgical tape so it can breathe overnight. Works every time! I think this is the only product out there that really does work. Order at least two, it's good to have one in the cabinet anyway, but probably will need it. The only downside of the product is that one fourth of it (when you used up, that's what remains inside) goes to the bin as you won't be able to push it out directly to the effected area. That's a lot of waste. Apart from that - brilliant product for the price.
Review: Really, really impressive, but caution needed. - Had a small verruca which has been bothering me for a bit (but I always forgot to sort it out). Eventually got round to ordering this stuff and it worked a treat. Needed just 2 treatments for the thing to fall out, am now waiting to see what happens to the skin that's left behind. Tips for the unwary, though... The first time you use it, it'll splodge out of the nozzle - another buyer suggested applying Vaseline around the verruca, and this I highly recommend as you DON'T want this getting anywhere else. It "sets" surprisingly quickly, but, while the instructions recommend skin that's been soaked for a few minutes, if your skin is too well-soaked (after a bath or shower, eg) it'll just peel right off again. However, once it's on, it will last all day and forms a hardy bond with your skin. Also, do note that it smell atrocious! After the first splodgy application, I cleaned up the excess with some tissue and just threw it in the bedroom bin. Some time later, I returned to the room to find it completely chemical-smelling - and from just a tiny amount on a tissue! The smell is very strong indeed, but if you know to expect it, you can manage it just fine. All in all, very impressed with this product - has worked well, and much more quickly than anticipated. Just DO be careful when applying it and do mask the area around your application site as it will dry quickly and damage healthy skin if left.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It worked! - Medium/large wart vanished after a few weeks - No nozzle biggest complaint
*by J***D on 9 December 2016*

A pretty good wart cream! Far better than bazuka cream. Firstly before giving the pros and cons i shall give a quick background of how I use it. Prior to using this I used to just try cutting it off with nail clippers (Gross i know) but it was a quick way of removing the top layers of wart. A friend of mine did this and had good results however I found it bloody and didn't solve the problem. I have in the past used Basuka which I didn't find did anything but get stuck to the wart and very hard to remove daily. I began using Cuplex daily on a fairly large wart on my hand, rinsing the wart in warm water before putting the gel onto it. I found it pretty effective at killing the top layers of wart, in comparison to Bazuka which would barely remove anything. The next morning I would expect a tough battle removing the harden gel from my hand but it came off a breeze whilst still killing the top of the wart so did the job well! The instructions recommend using an emery board to remove the top layer of dead wart cells but I found removing it with nail clippers after softening it in warm water worked better as you could get much more dead wart off (remember to disinfect the clipper before and after doing this). I regularly kept a daily removal program for about 6 weeks on this wart (still plenty of gel in the tiny tube) but didn't really see the wart properly going other than getting close to the skin. In the end i gave up with the gel as i didnt think it would ever fully remove it but low and behold after a few weeks of leaving it what was left of the wart disappeared. I cant tell you whether it was as a result of the gel or naturally went or a bit of both but it did the job. I have seen comments who recommend the duct tape method of removal, if I am in the same boat again I would use the gel to get the wart to a manageable tiny size then duct tape it to kill off whats left. Pros Removed the wart! Gel lasted a long time Clean removal the next morning Killed more wart than Bazuka Cons - No nozzle for smaller warts (big issue of mess when putting on) - would recommend seeing if a bazuka nozzle fits if you have one as this is the only major floor - No quick fix
