It leaves a soft waxy texture on your lips, wax is flavoured depending on what flavour you have gone for. The waxy texture is not unpleasant to have on your lips. It leaves your lips feel moisturise, not but glossy/ shiny or wet. But I have found you do need to reapply frequently.
