Put in an oil that is the correct grade and don't listen to people who think they know more than they actually do. I use this oil in my lovely Wifes 2016 VW POLO GTI, the 1.8 turbo charged version. I don't like the fact it's 4 litres I could do with 5, but that's a small don't, don't you think! and holding four litres above the engine while you wait for it to pour is better than five, there I've justified the 4 litres size. I buy two keep one in the garage and use all of the four litres and finish off with the spare. the engine takes 5,8 litres of oil per oil change, the filler cap on the engine says use Castrol oil and the Castrol oil website oil finder, states this is the recommended oil for this car. I think I've changed the oil five times on this car and the engine still purrs like a kitten.
