## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will these be strong enough to help hang a christmas garland from the fire place?**
A: It would be but you would need quite a few of them. Depending on the weight of the garland, I would suggest perhaps 1 every 20 cm. It will only adhere to dust-free and smooth surfaces (I know this from experience of using hundreds of these over the last 8 years!). If there is moisture or heat (from a real fireplace), then these clips will not be suitable at all. The adhesive will deteriorate in heat and moisture. Good luck!

**Q: Do they stick to wood?**
A: I have used them on painted wood window architrave to hang fairy lights. They have been hanging for 6 months so far. I have not yet removed them so cannot comment on their removal. Make sure the wood is not dusty

**Q: Where can I find adhesive strip refills for these? Thanks**
A: I can't find it either... where are the refills? 
these items should come with more adhesive as some decorations do fall off after a while and the adhesive needs replacing

**Q: Can they be used outside?**
A: I don't think they are meant to be used outside because there's nothing on the package that suggests they can, but as it's just plastic with an adhesive strip you might want to try so long as if one fails it won't be a disaster. For a short period of time, eg Christmas, they might well work.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great at holding up Christmas lights

My wife wanted me to hang some lights up around the edge of the living room. At first I tried a few squares of duct tape, but it just kept falling down at least once a day. I thought these as the proper solution and I wasn’t disappointed. They took a little longer than I hoped to arrive, but sometimes we can’t always get next day delivery. They’re easy to install - simply stick one of the supplied sticky pads to the back of the hook and press it against the surface. You will need to make sure that the surface is clean and free of any flaking paint or debris or they will just pull off, as in my case when the paint pulled off the cornice I applied it to. Make sure you follow the instructions to ensure a good bond, leaving it at least 60 minutes before putting any weight on it. This helps create a stronger bond between the hooks and the surface. Pretty cheap and do the job well, plus they seem sturdy and are almost invisible on my white cornice that surrounds the room - all ready for next Christmas or whenever I’m told to whack some lights up!
