I can not understand the complaints of those who say the screws that are used to hold the horizontal bars in place are "too big". If one is buying a "Lumber Storage Rack" to store lumber, or not, I think one would know how to attach them screws. High and Jr High schools need to bring back "shop class" if people are struggling to install such a simple, yet outstanding product! "Ich yi yi yi", my mother would say.... Regarding the mounting hardware whine, think about it. Why provide hardware to hang the racks on the wall when the manufacturer does not know what you are hanging it on? Wood studs? Steel studs?, Cinder block? Concrete? They would have to send out several types of hardware, maybe in different lengths. I'm glad I didn't have to pay more, probably nominal cost, for hardware I won't use. Plus, local hardware stores are there for very important purposes. A place to escape to if things are getting a bit naggie at home. Multiple trips should always be factored into any DIY project, even just for stress relief. A place to meet your neighbors. Hear about what concoctions the local city board is trying to do to mess the place up. Learn about the passing of "so-and-so" whom you haven't seen for a long time. Talk about the weather. Yet most importantly, hardware guys know stuff! They have what's called the "knack"! They can help you with things you don't know. Take advantage of all they have to offer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great rack with a couple of minor design mistakes that are easily overcome. *by M***1 on Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2018* Great little storage rack for lumber! I’m giving it 5 stars based on the product AFTER installation. First, like others have mentioned, the screws provided are slightly too large for the holes. But if you have access to an impact driver, they will go in with no problem. Just be careful not to strip out the holes. Second, you’ll need to provide your own lag screws, which wasn’t a big deal for me because I had some on hand. Just make sure you buy some really long ones to compensate for the tubing thickness plus the spacers. The few hurdles I had to overcome during installation were well worth it in the end. A sturdy rack that fit perfectly in the space I had to work with. Would definitely buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very easy to assemble and install, very strong, well made. *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2019* I bought 2 sets, and mounted the supports 2 feet apart on 24 inch on center studs in my shop. This was to store 8-12 foot wood molding and lattice strips without the boards sagging. The supports are very easy to assemble. The screws that serve as stops for the horizontal supports are supplied. I used 3.5 inch hex screws to mount the vertical supports. By the way, the vertical brackets are gloss black, and the horizontal supports are orange. The orange is just a bit darker than the orange color of my Ridgid shop vacuum. The wood support arms must be slipped onto the vertical wall brackets before mounting, which makes each assembly a bit unwieldy while trying to mount it to the wall.
