**Q: Ok i know the Germans make good stuff but what kind of warranty is on these? Anything less than lifetime would be a laughable.**
A: I know, I'm of the same mind. However, this item is German in name only. It is made in Turkey. My review of this item calls it a fraud. Needless to say, i returned it immediately.

A: The product is made in Solingen, Germany.  Solingen, located in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany, began production of various products made of steel at the beginning of the 16th century. For many centuries, the name Solingen was embodiment of high quality knives, cutlery and more. High quality hardened steel is selected to produce our scissors, nippers and clippers. Solingen became the only city in the world whose name is a registered trademark. The so called "Solingenverordnung" regulates the use of the brand "Solingen" since 1938.

A: 100% produced in Germany.

**Q: How long is the large clipper?  I'm looking for a clipper between 5-6 inches.**

Never buy that piece of garbage..

Unfortunately I can no longer use nail scissors for my toes. This is the original German brand that all the Chinese copies are based on, and as such it is a quality product. But it does not cut close enough and it can only be used on toe nails that stick straight out. If they curl down, like mine do, forget it. Consequently I am really only able to use it on my big toes. But my biggest gripe is that the smooth and slippery handles are extremely difficult to hold when positioning them and clipping with them, What could the makers have been thinking of? A bit of burring would have helped.
