The black plastic covers actually push on the plugs which help the plugs stay connected, the strip should only be curved under the battery. Get everything connected and screws secured before pushing the battery down over the loose strip.Side note: the small top front-face speaker is easy to break/pull in half, get that piece real hot to unstick it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Moto one 5 g ace *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on 5 March 2023* Quality is great, easily found instructions online to make the repair.
