I am the mental health and MAT therapist here. I gave her the book to go through. She got a notebook started writing things down. She realized the book was a lot about her and she doesn’t have bipolar she has borderline. She is seeing why medications do not work for her and why having a personality disorder from growing up in the trauma that she did with her mother is a lot more of learned behavior. It has helped her out so much that she has put up a positive relationship with her ex. And she is working on herself. Meaning she has decided to not to go back to a toxic relationship and she has the in capacity at this time to deal with her kids and all their needs. That she will just repeat behaviors from her mother. That it is best that she go into an assisted living or supportive, living after and work on herself, and then have that connections with the kids she’s allowed.
