No issue with any food sticking so far, retains heat well, provides the type of searing you want from a cast iron. Looks and feels like a high quality skillet, using it for all sorts very versatile both in oven and on hob. It is quite heavy though and so large it slightly overlaps a couple of rings on my hob.
