POCOCO Galaxy Star Projector, Rechargeable, with 5K Discs, 2 Megapixel Lens

We’ve been really happy with the POCOCO Galaxy Star Projector. The projection looks beautiful in a dark room and creates a very relaxing, immersive atmosphere. The stars and galaxy images are clear, vibrant, and much more impressive than I expected from a compact projector. Setup was simple, and it’s easy to use once you get everything positioned correctly. We especially like using it in the evening when winding down. It completely changes the feel of the room and is great for relaxing, quiet time, or creating a fun experience for the kids. The projector itself also feels well made and has a clean, modern design that doesn’t look out of place when left sitting out. Overall, it has been a great purchase and something our whole family can enjoy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality galaxy or star projector for a bedroom, family room, or relaxing nighttime setup.

Looked at tons of products including the sega luxe, homestar pro, dark skys pocket planetarium, uncle Milton 3d star theatre, encalife ambiance and galaxy star projector, bliss lights skylights laser projector and the original star master, all of which fall in the $50-$150 range (except the homestar luxe which runs a bit higher around $200). I settled on this one based on the mid level price point without compromising on the key benefits that a planetarium offers as opposed to a star projector. This projector is bright, has a great range of focus, is easy to stabilize, insert and remove discs, clean the lens and discs and not smudge them upon insertion, can be charged and removed for use without the cord making for a great portable or outdoor projection option when at places outside of just home, is aesthetically appealing in the pink and blue ombré, can use a number of disc brands including the plethora available for the orzorz star projector (note - la view discs are not compatible with this product, however). This was a key reason I went with this option as it provides for a plethora of additional disc options to choose from on the market that isn’t isolated to this manufacturer alone. I am very pleased after the first use of this product and it isn’t even all the way dark in our room yet. My two year old was oooing and awing and this was her first stargazing experience ever! From a planetarium! Cant speak to the longevity of the bulb or part components, however, with a price point that sits ~100 dollars below the comparable products available on the market today, the trade off around the product long term durability will not affect my perception of this product. It should be noted the product and materials do not in any way come with hints of cheaply made Chinese plastic junk or suggest poor craftsmanship or use of lowest cost to produce type of materials and color dyes - which I am extremely pleased about. The packaging is secure and quality is clear, with clear instructions that do not bear huge gaps in the user guide or have Inklings of poor translation to the English language which has often been a telltale sign of the products that typically do not deliver or meet the expectations advertised. Hope this review helps! My 2 yr old daughter and I will get equal enjoyment and relaxation from this planetarium projector - if you’re considering one that is a scientifically accurate depiction of the images projected as opposed to just a star projector that displays inconspicuous arrangements of twinkling lights - you wont be disappointed. There are plenty of disc options featuring the universe, Star formations, galaxies, black holes, all sorts of nebulas, the planets, the moon, moon phases and etc.

I have really enjoyed this purchase and really do like it. I’ll start with the negatives… Cons: NOT hyper realistic. Even my photo attached is enhanced with the advent of iPhone auto-enhancements (slow shutter speed). The projector light is not bright enough to display broad depth of color from an (anticipated) average distance to ceiling. Many of the slides are not prime content (many of the images leave me wanting something better). *For vaulted or angled ceilings*- the focus will only allow you to focus on a certain area, meaning, I can focus the image on the apex of my angled/vaulted ceilings but it becomes a little fuzzy towards the perimeter (difference of about 18”). This is very expensive when you consider how much the slides cost as well… Pros: The light caliber and “projection quality” is more than enough to produce wonderful images. I love that it is cordless, the charge lasts a while and I can place the projector in the ideal spots without having cords all over. A number of the slides (Pilars of creation, Cosmic Cliffs) display wonderful broad colors. The rotating feature is great, it gives more motion and excitement to the image. Ease of use, it’s simply one tray to put the slide in and one button. Although the majority of the slides I have been uninterested in, the ones that I’ve liked are amazing. Quiet and soundless. Small size makes its easy to handle and place. The images on many of the slides are truly captivating. This is not going to produce an image that plants you in the seat of a home planetarium... But with that being said, I really love it. The image clarity and color is much better than many home projectors I’ve seen and feels like an (amateur) planetarium. I did not have the expectation that this device would be like the crystal clear image of a powerful projector with professional standards, and that is why I give it five stars. It has by far been my favorite home / bed time astronomy projector. Things to consider; the price of the slides are VERY expensive for what you get… With the device purchase you get only two (mediocre) slides and each “extra” variety pack is over $50 for just a handful of more images. Is this worth the $100-200 you will inevitably need to spend to get a proficient use of it? Maybe, definitely not for everyone. Also, you will want to place the projector in the middle of the room and keep the image on one flat surface. It screws up the focusing of the image to have it rotate over multiple walls, and many might find it kind of difficult to find an elevated flat surface smack dab in the middle of their room.

this is the most gorgeous projector ever!! i got the moon and stars series to pair with it and i couldn’t be happier! i love how the images move and how vivid the images are, and i’ve had the best sleep ever since using it 🌑🩶

A very nicely designed and fun star/planet projector. It's quiet, has a battery to run independent of the plug, and is very easy to set up and use. Relaxing to watch the star slides. It comes with two slides and there are several other sets available. I did think the prices of these was a little high, considering the projector itself on a Black Friday sale price was not a lot more. I did buy one additional set of slides, but have not yet tried the planet/moon sets.

..NOT A VALUE FOR MONEY... Pictures of REAL galaxies, makes this product better than some. One would expect higher quality in the projector, considering the cost ($100.00 USD). It's MADE of cheap plastics, IN CHINA. This product is MORE COSTLY than it should be, BY more than HALF! However, it seems to be one of the better options, currently available (I'd gladly pay double for this type of product to be made correctly, using fire-retardant metals, instead of cheap, flammable plastics, that can easily catch fire; perhaps something made in Europe or Japan) . I've only had projector & slides for 1.5 mo. Rating on product thus far: Projector: 3.5 /5 stars Made of plastic (not metal & glass) & the focus is very loose, due to cheap manufacture. Slides: 4/5 (plastic & easy to scuff, but sturdily built. Rechargeable, l-ion battery: 3/5 stars. Does not last more than a couple of hours, though product does come with C-type cord (no charging block). Keeping plugged in over-night, causes mild OVERHEATING in projector; USE CAUTION. Projects revolving pics, taken by Hubble telescope/NASA. Product has timer; 15, 30 & 60 min. Over all rating: 3.9/5 stars For money spent, a cheaply constructed projector, though it IS functional, it could use MUCH IMPROVEMENT! Especially, the cut corners around SAFETY CONCERNS!

My daughter has trouble sleeping in the dark so she always has a projector on in her room. Her previous (astronaut) broke, so I decided to try this one. I purchased one that came with two discs. The colored galaxy is nice, but it is not nearly as vivid as is depicted in the ad. The second disc, which has stars, is hardly anything to see at all. I would recommend this simply because I do not see the value for the high price tag. For the price, this should come with a full disc set (which are sold separately for $50+).

Starting with the good part! It’s great! The image can be adjusted if it’s too blurry, simple process. The projector itself is adjustable too. So you can angle it to point straight up or at other angles, I don’t think it bends below 45 degrees though. Regardless the detail is perfect. It can be used as a decent night light, depending on which disks you bought. Also the light intensity is absolutely perfect! I’m definitely buying more discs too. And the general aesthetic and look, especially while gardening, is immaculate. 8/10 for sure! Now for the “bad”. It’s in quotations because it’s not actually anything bad. It has an adjustable magnifier, which is a plus but it can be moved a little too easily. There’s no micro slots or friction. Because of that, finding the precise position when adjusting the image is a tiny bit annoying (I don’t have surgeon steady hands) If you have a high ceiling with no tall or high up desk/counter, or shelves, this purchase isn’t really for you! Although the resolution is great the magnifying glass or whatever they use to project and expand the small image isn’t all that powerful. If you have a lower or even just above average ceiling then you’ll be fine! I found finding the perfect spot to place and point the projector difficult, not hard just difficult. If it’s up against a wall the ends of the image becomes distorted or blurry. Having it in the middle of my room fixed that problem right up but now it just sits awkwardly in the middle of my room on the floor lol until I buy a desk or nightstand. Not so much bad, more so inconvenient and tacky looking. This part isn’t bad at all, just depends on how you use it, but the battery life isn’t very long. I use to use it as an all night type of aesthetic but it dies after like 2 or 3 uses. Not bad but you’ll find yourself plugging it in a lot if you use it like that. So Instead I just have it on with the convenient 15, 30, or 60 minute timer which solves that problem. The price of the other discs. $50 for a bunch of tiny discs is slightly offensive. Strictly because of the price for size/amount. I love space, I love this product. But it’s funny that I’m procrastinating just to buy more. I want to, and am going to. But only when I’m ready to drop 50 on an item(s) I’m only gonna use for 15 maybe 30 minutes every other night lol (I have more important things to spend $50 on thanks to inflation) Going back to the magnifying of the image. Personally I wish they used something more capable. I use to have a high ceiling, obviously, but the image was always barely acceptable. And of course I didn’t have a choice in the height of my ceiling. However, now that I have a just above average height ceiling the image is way better! But it’s just not quite what it could be. Like I said before, this item needs a good angle, both itself and according to where you have it in the room to point it. Some people have a nightstand, or desk, or shelves or whatever else they could use. But if you’re like me and for some totally understandable and legitimate reason you don’t have any of those things in your room yet, maybe wait before buying. Thats literally the only thing that actually needs improvement In my strict opinion. Again, I will buy more discs, this is a great and cool product, and it’s definitely worth the buy. The “bad” parts were merely warning signs for those in similar situations. Of course I still highly recommend you this product 🖤

Wir haben den Sternenhimel Projektorr jetzt einige Zeit im Einsatz und sind wirklich positiv überrascht. Die Projektion ist erstaunlich scharf und wirkt sehr realistisch – kein billiger „Lichtspielzeug-Effekt“, sondern ein ruhiger, hochwertiger Sternenhimmel, der den ganzen Raum in eine entspannte Atmosphäre taucht. Besonders gefällt mir, dass der Projektor komplett geräuschlos arbeitet. Die langsame Drehung ist angenehm und nicht ablenkend, perfekt zum Abschalten am Abend oder als Einschlafhilfe. Auch der Fokus lässt sich leicht einstellen, sodass die Sterne klar an Decke oder Wand erscheinen. Der Timer ist super praktisch, vor allem nachts. Die beiden mitgelieferten Discs sind ein schöner Einstieg, und die Möglichkeit, später weitere Motive nachzukaufen, finde ich richtig gut. Verarbeitung und Design wirken hochwertig und unaufdringlich – passt sowohl ins Kinderzimmer als auch ins Schlafzimmer von Erwachsenen. Kurz gesagt: entspannend, hochwertig und etwas ganz Besonderes. Für uns jeden Cent wert und definitiv eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

This is a good product and I enjoy it, however I would have liked for it to be stocked in an Australian fulfilment centre for faster delivery, it took 2 months to come from the United States which is atrocious. They must operate at a snail pace over in the US and not realise or care that their is daily cargo flights from Los Angeles to Brisbane (nearest capital city to me). The extended delivery time really dented my enthusiasm for this product but I am glad it arrived eventually.

Adquirí 2 proyectores para diferentes habitaciones y no me arrepiento, la calidad de la proyección es muy buena pero hay que considerar que si la habitación es muy grande y el proyector se pone en una esquina, el ángulo más lejano no tendrá la misma calidad que el que está más cerca o al centro, si nota un tanto borroso, esto incluso es señalado en el folleto del artículo. Las funciones que incorpora son de rotación y temporizador (15, 30 y 60 minutos) así como enfocador. Incluye cable usb tipo C pero no incluye el cubo adaptador, pero con uno de teléfono funciona sin problemas. De momento la batería ha ido muy bien pues la función de temporizador ayuda para que no se quede prendido toda la noche. Evidentemente mientras más oscura la habitación mejor y creo que el mejor resultado de imagen se nota en una pared o techo blanco. Como nota incluye solo 2 proyecciones (brazo de la vía láctea y una nebula), si deseas más tendrás que comprarlas por separado. Muy buen producto.

I recently got the POCOCO Galaxy Projector for my daughter’s bedroom, and it’s quickly become her favorite bedtime companion. Every night before going to sleep, she insists on turning off the lights and letting the projector fill the ceiling with bright, colorful space images. It’s surprisingly immersive—her entire room lights up, making it feel like she’s drifting off under the stars. One thing I really like about this projector is how quietly it rotates. There’s almost no noise at all, which keeps the relaxing mood and doesn’t distract her as she’s falling asleep. I also appreciate how simple it is to adjust the focus, so I can get the images just right on the ceiling without a fuzzy edge. We usually keep the projector at about two meters from the ceiling, and it still looks sharp and clear. The built-in timer functions are a big plus too. On nights when we’re extra tired, I don’t have to remember to turn it off—having it automatically shut off after a set time is really convenient. And because it’s rechargeable, there aren’t cords all over her room. One charge lasts long enough for our nightly routine without having to plug it back in. Energy efficiency is another big highlight. I was actually impressed to see it has an A+++ rating, which means I don’t have to worry about wasting electricity or running up my bill. Plus, it’s nice knowing it’s a bit better for the environment. The extra projection discs you can buy are a fun option if you want more variety—so far, we’ve stuck with the two that came in the box, but I’m already thinking about getting a few more as a treat. Overall, the POCOCO Galaxy Projector has been a wonderful way to add some magic to bedtime. Our daughter looks forward to it every night, and it really sets a calming tone for her to drift off into dreamland. If you’re looking for something to make bedtime (or any room) feel more special, I highly recommend giving it a try.

I’m absolutely in love with this projector! I chose the blue and pink gradient version, and it is even more beautiful in person. The colors create such a dreamy, immersive atmosphere and instantly transform the entire room into a gorgeous galaxy and starry sky. The image quality is incredibly crisp and clear, and I love that it can display either a static image or a rotating projection, which makes the experience even more immersive. I’ve used it in my bedroom, at my computer desk setup, and in the living room, and it looks beautiful in every space. Another thing I really appreciate is how quiet it is. It’s perfect for leaving on while relaxing or falling asleep without an annoying motor or distracting noise. The timer function is also such a great feature for bedtime since I can set it and let it turn off automatically.
