POCOCO Galaxy Star Projector, Rechargeable, with 5K Discs, 2 Megapixel Lens

Looked at tons of products including the sega luxe, homestar pro, dark skys pocket planetarium, uncle Milton 3d star theatre, encalife ambiance and galaxy star projector, bliss lights skylights laser projector and the original star master, all of which fall in the $50-$150 range (except the homestar luxe which runs a bit higher around $200). I settled on this one based on the mid level price point without compromising on the key benefits that a planetarium offers as opposed to a star projector. This projector is bright, has a great range of focus, is easy to stabilize, insert and remove discs, clean the lens and discs and not smudge them upon insertion, can be charged and removed for use without the cord making for a great portable or outdoor projection option when at places outside of just home, is aesthetically appealing in the pink and blue ombré, can use a number of disc brands including the plethora available for the orzorz star projector (note - la view discs are not compatible with this product, however). This was a key reason I went with this option as it provides for a plethora of additional disc options to choose from on the market that isn’t isolated to this manufacturer alone. I am very pleased after the first use of this product and it isn’t even all the way dark in our room yet. My two year old was oooing and awing and this was her first stargazing experience ever! From a planetarium! Cant speak to the longevity of the bulb or part components, however, with a price point that sits ~100 dollars below the comparable products available on the market today, the trade off around the product long term durability will not affect my perception of this product. It should be noted the product and materials do not in any way come with hints of cheaply made Chinese plastic junk or suggest poor craftsmanship or use of lowest cost to produce type of materials and color dyes - which I am extremely pleased about. The packaging is secure and quality is clear, with clear instructions that do not bear huge gaps in the user guide or have Inklings of poor translation to the English language which has often been a telltale sign of the products that typically do not deliver or meet the expectations advertised. Hope this review helps! My 2 yr old daughter and I will get equal enjoyment and relaxation from this planetarium projector - if you’re considering one that is a scientifically accurate depiction of the images projected as opposed to just a star projector that displays inconspicuous arrangements of twinkling lights - you wont be disappointed. There are plenty of disc options featuring the universe, Star formations, galaxies, black holes, all sorts of nebulas, the planets, the moon, moon phases and etc.

I am absolutely in love with the POCOCO Galaxy Star Projector! From the moment I turned it on, my entire room was transformed into a magical galaxy full of stars and soothing lights. The colors are vibrant, the patterns are mesmerizing, and it creates such a calming atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing after a long day. One of my favorite features is the multiple lighting modes and brightness settings—it lets me adjust the projection depending on my mood, whether I want a soft starry night or a vivid galaxy show. The built-in speaker is also a huge bonus! I can play my favorite calming playlists or white noise directly from the projector, which makes it ideal for winding down before sleep. The design is super cute and modern, and it feels well-made. Setup was very easy, and it’s lightweight enough to move from my bedroom to the living room when I want to create a cozy vibe for movie nights. This projector is not only great for kids but also amazing for adults who enjoy a peaceful, aesthetic atmosphere. It’s perfect for bedrooms, parties, meditation, or just relaxing. I honestly didn’t expect to love it this much, but it has quickly become one of my favorite purchases. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and functional star projector—you won’t be disappointed!

This has been my favorite star projector I've purchased, and I've tried quite a few. I love how quiet this thing is, how slow the rotation is (it's a very relaxing speed) and the fact that you can swap out discs! The choices are gorgeous too, from black skies with just stars, to a rainbow nebula, to sea creatures. How cool is that?? And the quality of the image is fantastic. It lets you adjust the sharpness as well, so if it's a little blurry, just adjust it until it's sharp as a tack! Or, if you like your stars a little fluffy, just adjust it so it's a little more blurry. Whatever floats your boat. It also covers my whole room's ceiling, which I love. I think cost wise too, it's great. I'd rather spend a bit more money on something great, than less money on something I get sick of 3 months in. I've had mine since October of 2024 and I'm still loving it. I plan on getting more discs too to swap out more often; the one fault I think is that the discs can fade over time, especially the super colorful ones, but I think the cost is worth the replacements.

I was beyond excited for this product, from the company's story to the way it's demoed on their website, I wasn't expecting the world but something more of an authentic experience rather than the traditional laser grid "Star Machine." Tested for 2 hours in a windowless room with no ambient light. I wont walk through my experience, instead I'll just list what I encountered with this new package, sealed and delivered without damage. What they got right -Gorgeous equipment design, form and color gradient -Great company story and tie to inclusive beauty was appreciated -Great package design and marketing, the slides came packaged in their own organizer -Wide selection of actual space photography What they didn't get right -Thin low quality mold poured plastic with pouring/setting mistakes -Loose fitting pieces -Extremely light weight with no anchor weights in the base. When tilted to project at normal/intended range it will fall over. -Very loose focus ring, so loose engaging the rotation function made it slowly move out of focus while running. (Even the cheapest projectors/telescopes know the importance of tight focal mechanics especially if manual) -Scratched outer lense -Scratched inner lense (video attached) -Each slide was scratched or damaged -Low power 5w bulb, this alone makes the product more gimic than projector. Max lumens and projection range is incredibly low/short Why return instead of contacting customer service? Even barring the defects in production if I received this with no defects the quality of the device is incredibly low, especially for the price point. Their marketing team was effective at selling a version of their product that simply doesn't exist.

In the past I’ve bought only one other galaxy star projector, it was technically a laser pointer one. This one is an actual projector, and for the price it is really beautiful. You can adjust the sharpness of the image, but I’m not going to lie, it could have a little bit of a sharper image in some places. You can also set it to a timer for 15-60 minutes so that’s a pretty cool feature as well. Overall though it’s amazing for anyone at any age and worth the money. Very aesthetically pleasing color to the ball itself, and it feels like I’m sitting under the stars at night (honestly really good for date nights too!) And anyone who’s thinking of buying one, just know that it’s cheaper here on Amazon then on the website POCOCO.

The projection quality was better than I expected, and the colors are so vibrant! Definitely worth the price. The 2 discs it came with looked gorgeous on my wall (and I have an attic bedroom with slanted walls which makes it look even better). It's even super bright during daytime with the curtains closed. I love the manual focus feature. Idk if it's because of the shape of my walls or what, but it allows me to focus in more on the center, or on the upper or lower part of the image. As soon as I saw how good it looked, I immediately purchased the star and nebula disc set. (FYI, I have a blue light in my bedside lamp turned on in all my pics. BUT it still looks awesome in total darkness too)

I recently purchased the Pococo Galaxy Projector Light, and it’s truly a game-changer for my space. The sleek design is simple yet elegant, blending perfectly with any room. Once turned on, it transforms the atmosphere with breathtaking visuals of swirling galaxies and vibrant stars. The colors are rich and dynamic, creating a calming, almost magical environment. What makes this projector unique is the manual slide feature. To change the display, you simply swap out the slide, which offers different stunning effects like starry skies or nebulae. It's a hands-on approach, but it makes the experience feel more personalized. The projector is incredibly easy to use, and with just a simple slide change, I can instantly shift the mood of the room. The Pococo Galaxy Projector has added a whole new level of magic to my space. If you’re looking for a simple yet beautiful way to bring the cosmos into your home, this is definitely worth the investment. Highly recommended!

My daughter has trouble sleeping in the dark so she always has a projector on in her room. Her previous (astronaut) broke, so I decided to try this one. I purchased one that came with two discs. The colored galaxy is nice, but it is not nearly as vivid as is depicted in the ad. The second disc, which has stars, is hardly anything to see at all. I would recommend this simply because I do not see the value for the high price tag. For the price, this should come with a full disc set (which are sold separately for $50+).

This is a good product and I enjoy it, however I would have liked for it to be stocked in an Australian fulfilment centre for faster delivery, it took 2 months to come from the United States which is atrocious. They must operate at a snail pace over in the US and not realise or care that their is daily cargo flights from Los Angeles to Brisbane (nearest capital city to me). The extended delivery time really dented my enthusiasm for this product but I am glad it arrived eventually.

I’m absolutely in love with this projector! I chose the blue and pink gradient version, and it is even more beautiful in person. The colors create such a dreamy, immersive atmosphere and instantly transform the entire room into a gorgeous galaxy and starry sky. The image quality is incredibly crisp and clear, and I love that it can display either a static image or a rotating projection, which makes the experience even more immersive. I’ve used it in my bedroom, at my computer desk setup, and in the living room, and it looks beautiful in every space. Another thing I really appreciate is how quiet it is. It’s perfect for leaving on while relaxing or falling asleep without an annoying motor or distracting noise. The timer function is also such a great feature for bedtime since I can set it and let it turn off automatically. It’s amazing how much of a difference this little projector can make to the atmosphere of a room. Whether you want a cozy galaxy vibe for your bedroom, something magical for your desk setup, or an immersive effect in your living room, it works beautifully. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. Definitely one of my favorite additions to my space!

É bonito, a imagem é boa, mas o valor é alto pra experiência que é só legal

Parfaitement ce que je voulais!! Pourquoi 4 étoiles, parce que je trouve cela un peut décevant qu’il donne que deux option a pour projeter
