Read the description - it's not long of a cord but it does a great job for my needs. My mom has dementia and she's up all the time going to bathroom. The light (installed correctly) gives enough to see without overpowering glare. I put a green line, using painter's tape so she can go from her bed to the bathroom. The light helps her to see it. It works perfectly I bought these to put under my stair rails to light up at night when we want to go up and down the stairs. I like them because they are very thin and you really don't know they are there till they detect motion.The battery pack comes with a magnetic adhesive backing so you stick the adhesive where you want and the pack clings to the magnet so it can be removed for charging.
