However, I have noticed that the strength of the coffee is not consistent. Sometimes it is very strong, and other times it is not. I use the same cup with the same exact amount of water every time. It is never too weak. which is good. I intended to use these coffee pods in my french press mug for when I travel to keep down the mess that loose coffee causes. Unfortunately, unless I pierce the pods, the coffee is too weak. If I pierce the pods before adding hot water, the coffee is good and strong enough but I get a mess for disposal that I intended to prevent by using pods in the first place instead of loose coffee. Other brands of pods I have purchased have less filtering pod material and a 12 oz pod is sufficient to make a good cup of coffee in the press. I should not have to use 2 pods to have my coffee taste more then dark water.
