I have only used it on clothes that i was able to wash in the washing machine. I have used it on a small amount of blood on white sheets that was due to my granddaughter's gums bleeding because of a loose tooth. It did a great job getting it all out. I think it would be worth a try on the mattress. **Q: Is this a Concentrate?** A: It is not a concentrate. You just put it on the stain and let it sit for a while and then wash. It works really well on blood stains. **Q: does this remove oil stains?** A: Use Carbona 7 for that. It actually works.
