**Q: Is the can bpa free or not?**
A: Oofff. Thought that BPA was plastic only. Sorry cant say about these cans... but I only do palm butter a few times a year so I'll live if it is.  This stuff is very close to what I grew up on in the bush. Not perfect but damn good.

This product used to just contain palm pulp, water, and salt. The new version contains spices --- and the types of spices are NOT DISCLOSED!! Sadly I did not realize this until after adding it to a dish, and given food sensitivities, had to discard the dish. Buy another brand.
