Believe me, I tried it with no solutions manual and got headaches from trying to figure out some of the cumulative and challenge problems at the end of the chapter. The solutions only cover the odd problems, which is good enough. Steps are skipped in some solutions, but you can figure it out from there if you spend some time breaking down the solutions, this in turn will help you with other problems. Write notes in the solutions manual with a pencil to help you while you are breaking it down. For some numbers that seem to come out of nowhere, type those numbers into Google, sometimes they are constants or chemical standard notations that haven't been covered yet at that point in the book. Sometimes you can also use the text index to look up unfamiliar notations by topic and other things that have not been covered yet at the chapter you are at. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Odd Numbers are for the ODD BALLS *by D***Y on Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2017* Answering every question in the book has become an ordeal even for a chemist because the textbook and solution manual doesn't answer even numbered problems. Would like to kill anyone thinking that answering only odd numbered questions in chemistry books is a good idea. The problem is the availability of VALID solutions. Any serious profession or student would pay more for a complete version.Let's blame the marketing majors.Other beef is the "saving ink" approach where the answers seems almost cryptic at times due to hyper scripting of solutions.
