The LCD on mine only displayed partial numerals unless pressure was applied to it (see pics), which led me to believe there was a display connector problem inside. There was: There is a right-angle, unsoldered, indirect (contact mating) connector between the LCD and the rest of the unit which was misaligned because of a square of adhesive foam stuck to the back of the LCD sticking over the top edge, preventing proper alignment. I moved the foam a little away from the connector, and all is well. I regret not having taken pictures of my disassembly, fix, and reassembly of the display portion of this unit. If you are forced to attempt this (as I was--I really needed this to work immediately--you will need to take some very, very tiny Phillips screws out of the back of the top part of the case, and another 5 micro Phillips-headed screws from the circuit board holding the LCD. Don't forget to re-route the wires running up both sides of the case so that they don't get pinched. Good luck...or just return it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I would pass *by M***D on Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2017* Wasn’t very accurate (8 degrees off) if left in a pot of water for like beer making stuff for more than a few minutes.
