**Q: Is this hose material softer ? or is it the hard plastic type material ? i have a coil hose right now that is really stiff.  i’m looking for a softer**
A: It’s pretty stiff, and tends to coil back so you have to keep pulling on it when using. Durable, I’ve had it for a few years and it’s still fine.

A: No

A: The size on this hose is a 3/4” fitting

**Q: For salt-water marine applications, how do the fittings hold up? Our intent is to use and store it within the anchor locker of the sailboat.**
A: Not very well.  Soft metal fittings.  Started leaking when turned on very quickly. :{

This spring hose has turned out to be perfect for watering the flowers and herbs on the deck. Then the hose curls back into the hose box. It's fun to see the water run thru the hose. This is the first summer for the house and it's held up well so far.
