Diagnosing the issue was way harder than applying the fix - I had the motor off and inspected all the wiring etc etc but the key to the issue was observing the mains transformer green light - when the switch was disconnected the light stayed on , as soon as the switch was reconnected off it went. I was a little concerned as the original switch and cabling had an inline transformer paper way along the cable - the replacement parts did not - I think i5 must be integral to the switch housing?
