Didn’t change a thing, same roast/beans, same grind setting, same espresso machine and temp settings, dosage/ratio, etc... Noticed a bump in overall flavor and much less acidity. Also that it extracted about 2-3 seconds faster. Less residual grinds leftover after knocking the puck out, still some, but not very much. I have noticed that it is a bit less forgiving if you don’t thoroughly prep the puck. If it channels it will let you know, multiple spouts that take longer to unify etc…. This basket offers a lot less resistance than your stock basket so it requires for you to grind finer to maintain the same pressure. The sweetness that resulted from the first shot I dialed in with the new basket was something I had never tasted before. It was as if I had added syrup to my espresso.
