How is this installed on a concrete deck?

These are standard tiles installed with thinset. If this is a new installation, a small angle grinder and concrete cutting wheel can be used to create a recessed area in which to install. Markers are just under 3/16 inch thick.

What is the size of the lettering?

The NO Diving text is 7/8 of an inch tall

It’s a little thicker than a quarter of an inch. Can’t remember exactly what it is. As long as it’s thin set in properly you shouldn’t have any problem with it breaking. I’ve replaced about 3 of these so far. With normal use should last as long as any other type of tile. We pressure wash every day so ours lose the writing within 2 years. Otherwise they’d last 10 to 20 years is my guess.
