Father needed solid linen shorts with a drawstring and elastic waist to double up as underwear for dhoti and as shorts for the summer. These linen shorts pleasantly surprised us by their comfort and style. These shorts are an excellent addition to my father's warm-weather multi-purpose wardrobe.1. Comfort: These shorts are comfortable to wear. The linen fabric is breathable and perfect for hot summer days. The elastic waistband, combined with the drawstring, allows for a customized fit that stays snug without feeling too tight. It extends till the knee and that was one of the asks while using it as an underwear for dhoti.2. Colour: These linen shorts are white and elegant and pair well with a variety of dhotis.3. Fit: They provide enough room to move freely without appearing baggy. The drawstring allows for a customized fit, and the elastic waistband ensures they stay in place comfortably. This is essential specifically if you are using a back-support belt. Sometimes, if the elastic malfunctions, the drawstrings are good backup. We have made it a policy of sorts to buy all shorts with elastic and drawstrings.4.Durability: While linen is known for its breathability and comfort, it's also a fabric which tears off near the stitches. We are on wait and watch mode. So far, it has been holding up.5. Pockets: Pockets on these shorts are fine.It looks like a solid choice for a comfort, style, and fit. They can be made more affordable. Whether we repeat the purchase or not, only time will decide.
