I have a older set pre- 2010 yet your picture for 2010 and over looks like the correct set? My hinge has that square box with the hinge -to pivot ?

All hinges have a pivot point, the 55-1 uses a 5/16" x 3" lag screw to replace the pivot point. The 55-2 and the 55-1 are different and not interchangable. Werner ladder is the manufacturer, and the correct replacement part for a pre-2010 Werner ladder is a 55-1. This is for a Werner ladder only, if it is manufactured after 2010 you need a 55-2.

Can th e55-1 replace the 2010. aSlso does it need a plate, Is it easy to install, I only need just one side, hoe do you remove the plate

I replaced both sides because I was afraid if I didn’t, the load would be different on each side. My existing plate was bolted on.

I have model W2510 what bracket will work made 2000
