## Description

Prenatal Cradle - V2 Supporter - Large During pregnancy, vulvar varicosities can occur for many reasons. Increased weight of the enlarged uterus sometimes creates pressure on veins in the pelvic area and interferes with the flow of blood returning from the legs. Naturally higher levels of estrogen promote growth, while increased progesterone tends to relax the smooth muscles of the vein walls. The relaxed veins can become distended and ''''''''pop out'''''''' as vulvar varicosities. Wearing the V2 supporter before rising in the morning, helps prevent excessive swelling of the vulvar veins. The V2 Supporter provides clinically proven compression therapy Recommended for: Vulvar Varicosities (also used post sclerotherapy) Lympedema Perineal edema Incontinence External prolapsed bladder or uterus The V2Supporter is: Doctor recommended Adjustable for maximum comfort and support Safe, effective, and convenient Soft, lightweight, and machine washable (line dry) ? Review: Stops the throbbing! - Disclaimer: I rarely write reviews, and I even more rarely give 5 stars. I was really skeptical that this would work, but I ordered it because I had to do something about the vulvar varicose veins. I only have them on one side, but I couldn't walk very far until things started throbbing down there. Without sounding too dramatic, the V2 is a lifesaver. It is the first thing I put on in the morning, and it's the last thing I take off at night. I'll probably end up ordering a second one just to have an alternate. I cannot go without wearing it (except to sleep). I hand-wash mine (the inner tag says machine-wash and the outer tag says hand-wash - I don't want to take my chances of ruining it in the washer), but it does air-dry overnight. Some reviews mentioned that it was scratchy around the panty line. I did experience that the first day or two of wearing it, but I just made sure the edges of my panties were stretched out farther than the V2. After a few days, the edges softened up and the whole thing kind of became contoured to my body. I haven't needed to wear boy-short panties or spandex like other reviews have mentioned. It's actually pretty comfortable. It will show funky lines in the back with really thin/tight or light-colored pants, but so far it's been fine with my jeans, dresses, and skirts. Sizing is fairly close if you go by the pre-pregnancy waist chart (although they must really mean hip chart - that's where the band sits). FYI, the weight chart is way off! So measure your hips and use that for the waist chart. I ordered a small, and it fits perfectly. I am approx. 5'5" tall, was about 105 lbs pre-pregnancy (size 0 or 2), and pre-preg hip was approx 34/35". I have had the V2 for about a month, and the waistband does stretch a tiny bit after a few days of wear. I have considered ordering a petite for my second one, but each time after I wash mine, the elastic waistband seems to shrink back up, so I'll probably just stick with the small (especially since I'm only going to get bigger - I am 21 weeks pregnant). Just get it - it will make everyday activities bearable again!
Review: Saved me from debilitating pelvic pain - I have large and painful varicose veins in my pelvic floor due to a birth injury from my first child. Now I am in the third trimester of my third pregnancy and this supporter has been a LIFE SAVER. I relocated when seven months pregnant and was able to do all the stooping, pushing, and light carrying that I needed to without any debilitating pain. The pain I felt in the groin in my previous pregnancy was awful. I couldn't stand, walk, carry anything, or roll over in bed without severe pain. I had previously tried a belly-binding band, which helped some, but not nearly as much as this does (and it was much more uncomfortable). This V2 supporter helps so much that after wearing it for several days, I can go a while without it and I HAVE NO PAIN. I didn't have a moment without pain in my previous pregnancy. Not-pregnant, I wear a size 2-4 pants, and the small fit perfectly through my second trimester. Now that I'm entering my third, it's becoming too snug and I'm buying a medium. It machine washes fine in a garment bag, though I wouldn't put it in a washer without the garment bag. The straps would get caught in the agitator. The synthetic material dries quickly - DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER. The material does irritate me if it is directly on my skin, so I wear tight shorts or leggings under it just like in the picture, then pants or a skirt on top. Layering is a small price to pay to be pain free. To prolong its' wearability between washings, I also wear a pantiliner under my panties, which are under the supporter. I had seen this previously and avoided buying it because I was too embarrassed. I could have saved myself a lot of pain if I had bought it in my last pregnancy. The lace detail in the front also helps to ease the mental block against it. I thought my little kids and husband would think it looked very weird, but they didn't think twice about it. Personally, I got used to it very quickly, both emotionally and physically, and now I wouldn't be caught without it. If you're pregnant and have pelvic pain, this is what you've been searching for.

### ⭐ very disappointed
*by D***E on July 3, 2016*

Was very hopeful upon receiving this that it was going to help with my 4th pregnancy. Turned out to be one of the most uncomfortable things I had ever tried on. Not what I was needing. I tried it on one time over clothing and then followed through with the return instructions immediately. It was returned to me during to be "used". There was not a single indicator that it had even been out of the box, much less 'used.' Disappointed to have $40 just sitting in the cabinet now
