A: Yes they do, its written on each of the pens.

**Q: I received the dyne test pens 3/30/2020. its expiration date is written as 09/16/09. is the date format of mm/dd/yy or what?**
A: Yes it should be.  I would return them.  I've used them out of date but not 11 years

**Q: Is this for rigid substrates as well as film?**
A: I don't know for sure, but in theory they should work on any dielectric (non-conducting) smooth, non-absorbent surface.
