Seems like it will be really good to practice my suture skills on. I like that they give a link to youtube videos for suturing.Update: After practicing on this suture pad, I have removed a few stars because the underlying material tears too easily for you to do deep sutures. You can practice vertical mattress sutures on the “incisions” that are wide, but there is a lot of tension so I am nervous about even the superficial material tearing, but so far it seems to be holding up. I would still recommend this product because it has been helpful with figuring out basic sutures. ### ⭐ Does not replicate normal tissue. Exactly what my wife was looking for to help practice suture techniques with a good variety of different stitch sizes. With this she can practice new sutures any time I want and in different types of lacerations. The material is dense but still pretty lightweight and soft while not ripping. I was also really drawn to the fact that this suture pad came attached to a base which made it easier to practice.
