And when you finally run out of filters buy a new jug and 6 filters and start again. To add, the filter replacement indicator is a timer, it has no idea how much life is left in the filter. **Q: How full are you supposed to fill this jug?** A: Fill to the very top. It then filters down into the chamber below and is ready to poor. It only pour from bottom first. No spill at all. Get one they are great!! **Q: I can't get the lid to fit, is it defective or just poor design?** A: I would return and request a new one- mine fits perfectly and pours smoothly without drips. **Q: After installing the filter, i noticed that it doesn't align with the inner sleeve; it sits (almost) diagonally on it. what am i doing wrong? thanks!** A: I'd suggest you remove the cartridge and reattempt , it clicks when it's in place. it's not a problem I'd experienced. Do yourself a favour and get one... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good filter jug, easy to fill, included 6 filters, great value for money *by C***1 on 24 October 2022* I wanted a second filter jug to use outside of the fridge for filling kettles etc to minimise energy costs. I liked the size of this jug and the ease of filling it. Its nice to look at and fits into fridge doors easily. It is so easy to fill just by holding it under the tap, no flaps to lift. I received 6 filters with the jug I purchased which is fantastic value for money. The filters allow the water to flow quickly into the jug which is great, no need to stand around waiting, but the quick flow makes it easy to over fill the jug. I have given 4 stars because the jug cannot be filled to 2.8 litres without it pouring unfiltered water alongside the filtered water into your glass. Other reviewers mentioned this overflowing this issue, which is an issue if 2.8 ltrs of water is placed in the jug. I decided that for my needs, ie using it outside of the fridge I was happy to limit the amount of water to the amount that fills the white fill compartment which is less than 2.8 ltrs that the jug could hold. I can still have spillage if I’m pouring into a narrow necked bottle. I haven’t returned this item as I am ok with its limitations because of its ease of use and it meets my needs.
