I have to say, it almost felt like it was so hyped up that maybe the bar was too high and it just didn’t deliver. If nothing else, it had the volume - you don’t have to turn it up much for it to fill a room - but it just didn’t deliver the oomph. I put on movies with great soundtracks and sound effects. I tried music. It just seemed like it never really fulfilled what I was expecting. The lack of remote wasn’t a huge deal, but I do wish there was a way to set the sound bar to not come on with the TV as I only like the sound bar or external sound for movies and/or music. If I’m watching everyday TV I don’t feel like most of what I watch benefits from the sound bar much.
