It didn't come with any** A: Hmmm, the directions I received were pretty basic. I pasted below my own approach. Please note that, in the end, I didn't use the whole rear view mirror device; I took out the impressive little display by breaking the mirror and cracking open the case and created my own case using a Pioneer Woman's small food storage container and some Velcro on the dashboard. A big improvement for seeing the screen clearly and it has worked well for 2 years. Rearview camera monitor modifications 1. Remove outer mirror cover: razor, pry device 2. Hopefully, the unit is complete and intact 3. Remove cable in back: possible cut an opening if necessary 4. To find: • black electrical box • black rubber matting • Fuse tap/adapter, crimp bullet and fuse • Two-sided tape and razor and Velcro 5. To Do: • Locate ideal placement • Tailor the rubber matting for ideal position and angle • Glue matting together on box • Drill hole in box for cables to fit thru • Velcro unit in box • Velcro box to dash • Run new wires to fuse box and ground Benefits: small unit, shaded/protected, movable, discrete and possibly less dark (not going thru two-way mirror) and less reflective/glossy with an easier viewing angle. Unfortunately, I cannot find my actual installation notes but they were drawn from watching 5 or 6 youtube videos. Take you time when you do it. **Q: How can I wire the camera up using cigarette lighter** A: thank you for your question,you need buy one car charger then can use it **Q: Will this product work for an extended cab truck?
