Review: More like a huge spot light, this thing illuminates everything around and in front of you - Huge light span, really lights up everything. I'll never use another flashlight again, they just don't compare, you will be blown away if you take my advice and try one for yourself, you as well, will never use a different flashlight again. I'm getting one for all my family members after having to use it for the first time when the lights went out, and never having tested it before, I turned it on for the first time and it lit up the whole room and wherever I pointed it, not just a targeted beam like most lights, probably due to the fact it's so wide where the LED's are and they're so bright everything gets lit up. And it's got 3 different brightness levels, strobe light, and an SOS flashing option with a regular USB connection to charge so no buying batteries anymore. You know what? I just talked myself into buying another one for myself and it's something I can totally justify, having 2 will be helpful, one set up in the front room which will illuminate the whole room and one in the back room positioned to illuminate the whole house with 2 of these badass flashlights. Thanks for making/designing this light, the expectations/the bar has been risen by this company and it's a huge improvement, can't wait to see what comes out that can outperform this thing. #Best Light Ever! **Q: What does the red light mean?**
A: I like this flashlight.  It fits nicely in my hand as I walk dogs at night.  All the light I need for nighttime security.  I'm not sure what the "Red Light" means.  There's NO red viewing light on this model.  No night vision red light for reading or viewing so your eyes don't dilate with 'white' light.  Maybe a good update later for this model.  I don't need 'red light' for picking up doggy dooo.  The rechargeable connection cover comes undone too easily so I just put a piece of black electrical tape over the charging port and charge the 18650 rechargeable Lithium battery by itself from a dedicated charger from a standard household 110v wall outlet I have had for all my 18650's.  If you want a flashlight w/red light capability you might check out the Coast (of Portland OR) line of flashlights model PX20 which I love.  Small, powerful w/a white light button and a red light button for night viewing.  $19.00 I even found one at my local ACE hardware store.  Hope this helps you.  The Tacllight does not fit any 'sheath' I've found either.  the head is too large for a suitable sheath.  Sad.  Hopefully they'll update this model w/some significant changes.  I'll be glad to make some suggestions.

A: In regard to your question, in your information about your light they give the battery question about replacing, it can be replaced and Amazon has in their line many batteries, chargers and some can be of great help. There are numbers of batteries that I am not remembering and I recommend to write down to help you in the future.

**Q: Mine seems to be stuck in red light mode. Any idea how to change that?**
A: Have you charged it fully? Unplug the light and plug back in, check for a good connection at both ends of charging wire.

Huge light span, really lights up everything.
