I've had problems with plosives and sibilance and from my first session it is a huge improvement and almost completely eliminates the problem! I was skeptical before buying it, but the proof is in the pudding. I produce commercials for 6 radio stations and do voice over work from my Pro Home Studio and I've already put it through many recordings both commercials and narration work and it works fantastic! If you buy the VO 1A, it is DEFINITELY worth the price for the ease of recording it provides! This is a genuine review from a working voice talent. Review: It does help with plosives - but not as much as I'd like - The filter does its job, but not as well as I'd like. It could be that it's a matter of my own distance to the mic, the mic gain, and whether or not I'm positioning everything as I should be - but I can still hear more of the plosives than I'd like, although they are greatly muted from before I had the filter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A nice metal mesh pop screen that fits the MXL VO-1-A microphone perfectly *by J***H on March 29, 2015* One thing I dislike about many pop filters is that they are enormous, require bending a long gooseneck, and need to be constantly adjusted (the screen starts to droop from weight, or it moves when you move the boom). This screen is compact, fits perfectly, stays with the mic, in position, when you move it away. And if you have spitty plosives, you can wash it in water. It is a bit pricey, though. As far as I know, it fits only this one microphone. I don't understand why they don't make this filter is a range of sizes for different microphones.
