As long as the end of the microphone isn't directly in from of your mouth, I don't think it mattered. The sound was clear and did the job.Only disappointment was that I wish it were a bit more flexible, so that it could be bent/re-shaped to be a little more refined fit. ### ⭐ DISAPPOINTING...Not as good as the mic that came w/unit... *by on Reviewed in the United States February 22, 2015* Unable to stabilize it on my ESR and sound is inferior. Will be sending it back...too expensive for mediocre equipment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great inexpensive microphone *by on Reviewed in the United States December 23, 2015* I am using these microphones at our church with a Sennheiser wireless microphone system. The audio level is about 3-5dB below the microphone that comes with the Sennheiser but the sound is perfectly clear. I just turn up the fader on that channel in our mixer panel. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/4684815-voicebooster-low-profile-single-ear-hook-omnidirectional-headset-microphone](https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/4684815-voicebooster-low-profile-single-ear-hook-omnidirectional-headset-microphone) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Kingdom* *Store origin: GB* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
