Review: Great Music, Great Pressing - Every jazz lover has a story about this album. Here's mine. Senior year in High School. I'm the facilitator of a "Jazz Club" at the school after hours. 6 - 8 of us meet weekly with albums in hand. I get the record player from A/V and play "Time Out" for the group. We're used to more conventional jazz. Now, we get a Rondo; different time measures; tight piano, sax, bass and drums courtesy of Dave Brubeck. And, the rest is history. My recording of this album was ready for Social Security benefits, so I decided to spring for a re-release; a limited edition Jazz Wax Records vinyl disc from desertcart. So glad I did! Not only was I rewarded by this reminder of an important jazz album; but, the pressing is flawless! I probably should get an extra copy to save, unopened, for future generations...but, I'm closing in on 80, so why not just crank up the volume, kick back and get transported back to a pivotal point in jazz innovation. Hey, the price is right; get it now! And, enjoy.
