I purchased this clock/radio/speaker with the intent of using it as an alarm clock. I spent 20-25min familiarizing myself with the directions and getting it programmed...not user friendly even for a very tech-savvy individual. Set the alarm multiple times and tested it, no problems. I chose to set it as a radio wake up at 7:00am, at a time my wife would be available if it didn't go off. The alarm did go off at set time but instead to the bird chirping and the snooze button (labeled right on top of the clock, a simple touch-sensitive design) does not work. To make matters worse, I pressed the mode button and the whole screen flashed and went blank. I turned the clock off and on and retested the alarm, same thing. The sound quality is great but questioning the reliability as an alarm clock.
