I tested first on rusty scrap steel. Shiny after being left overnight. It did rust again left out in the rain but that's expected. The rust was removed as my measurements with a micrometer showed 0.05 -0.1mm thinner afterwards. The first use of this is removing rust from the fuel sump tank of my Jag XJS. He was not wrong. I have used it on various items and the results are amazing. The non damaging formula is a bonus and does not affect parts normally damaged by most rust removers. The fact it is reusable too makes it very cost effective. I had a 1940 pocket knife with rusted blades and the old bakalite handles, Cleaned it up no problem and the handles were unaffected.
