There are exercises at the end of each section designed to enable the reader to test their own understanding, which in theory is a great thing. Although the answers for the first group of questions are printed in the book at the end of each unit, the answers for the ‘More Practice’ questions are described as being ‘available on the website’ (presumably to save space in the book). References to these answers being available on the website are repeated throughout the book - in the back cover blurb, the ‘How to use this book’ section, and again with each indivdual set of practice questions. In fact they are not available. When I contacted the publisher to ask why, the patronising reply from their representative claimed that, “Instructor (I presume they mean teacher) resources are locked, since students would have access to all answers otherwise”...Apparently I might be trying to cheat - at best I was asking for something I wasn’t entitled to. I can find absolutely no reference to these answers being only accessible to 'instructors' anywhere in the book. Surely the whole point of buying a self-study guide is that you have access to the answers to the exercises in order to test your progress?
