Por lo demás ha cumplido con todas mis espectativas. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ditch your conventional alarm clock and buy this. *by H***? on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 14, 2014* I bought this as an upgrade to the starter bodyclock, as I need a longer wake-up time than the standard clock allows.I love the ability to fine-tune the sunset and sunrise options. It's also possible to set one of the pre-recorded noises or radio to fade with the sunset, which I'm eager to try. I'd have liked to see an option to "fade-in" the radio or a sound with the sunrise, but maybe this would wake people up too soon (or, in my case, probably not wake me up at all).I initially had the worry that the pre-programmed sounds would be on very short loops or would sound extremely tinny and low-resolution. Fortunately, they quality is very good, and the volume can also be adjusted. I like the birdsong best, but one or two of the birds have unusual, slightly musical calls, whereas I'd have probably preferred the standard English woodland repertoire. It's not much of an issue really though, is it? Plus the sound doesn't seem to repeat too quickly, so it's OK.The radio quality is perfectly acceptable. It's not fantastic but it's acceptable. It's not overly tinny, and the reception is good. It's more than adequate for an alarm clock. The operation of the radio etc. is a little counterintuitive at times, and the instruction manual is very sparse, but you can, with a few minutes of perseverance, set it up and then you need never go through any of the options again for a while. With the manual, it's quite easy to work out how it operates and remember it for later anyway. Just switch it on and have a play with the settings and see what it does.Tuning the radio is a bit of a pain, as you have to repeatedly press the buttons to inch your way through the frequencies. It would have been better if it operated more like a typical FM car radio. Maybe I'm just not doing it right. Anyway, it's set now so I don't need to mess with it!The display itself is very clear but also very bright. Fortunately there is the option to either dim it or switch it off completely when the alarm is set. I set it to switch off completely. Pressing any button on the clock illuminates it again briefly, so you can still see what time it is at night.I well recommend this device - particularly if it's durable. It doesn't feel particularly solid but it's not so flimsy I'm afraid of breaking it. My other Lumie still works, and that's had a few years' usage so far. This device is a Godsend for people like me with delayed sleep-phase syndrome, erratic working hours, and SAD during the winter months. This is, by far, a much nicer way to wake up than a conventional alarm clock.
