The main difference is that instead of having a single-sided "grid" of the words, the duet version uses a dual-sided grid that differ on each side so each player is trying to guess different cards. You can use those grids for the playing cards that come with Duet or with the cards that come from any other version of Codenames. **Q: Is this a cooperative game then?** A: It is! You can play with just two people, or you can play in teams with more people (like original Codenames). There's not a lot of talking going on during the game, because you just give one-word hints, but you cooperate in the same vein as solving a puzzle together. **Q: Is this game appropriate for children age 10?** A: It requires a reasonably well developed capacity for lateral thinking, as well as a wide-ranging vocabulary (not necessarily a sophisticated vocabulary however).
