Clean & Fresh!
This air purifier hit many features I was looking for, a higher CADR, actual pellet charcoal filtration, with a quieter running speed that is still efficient. I appreciate the app and all the features and love the way you can angle the fins on the top to direct the outflow of air. It looks great, has a nice looking interface with colored rings and information center, easy 'one touch' buttons and simple design that looks great and I love the light detection feature! These are my favorite features so far: Flexible angle fins Pellet charcoal filter Washable Pre-filter - This can help extend the life of the main filter Very easy filter replacement Quiet fan operations on lower speeds Flat profile to easily fit along wall space Colored Rings-Info Center/Easy one touch buttons Light sensor to automatically turn off the display and all the lights and turn it down to a low fan level (was a big selling point for me) Easy connection to wifi with a nice interface on the app if you want to see the actual PM counts (PM1,/PM2.5/PM10) and or control other features. My only cons so far are: Wheels on the bottom only turn in two directions - to the left or right (makes it awkward to roll around or pull out from a wall) Filter is all one piece for carbon/HEPA-like filter (this isn't a true HEPA filter) I've seen reports that sometimes this type seem to have better airflow, but you need to replace the entire piece rather than just the charcoal odor part, which they suggest could be 12 -15 months, however I suspect the charcoal part won't last that long. Replacement filter price - currently ~$99 USD Overall, it's a nice seemly well built unit which has helped me sleep better, isn't too large and seems to helps with capturing dust and pollen particles so far. I had purchased one for the bedroom area and liked it so much I bought a second unit for the living room/kitchen area after considering other brands and the Levoit 600S, but I am happy with this model. It's a little pricer than I would like to see but still a nice machine which I hope will continue to give many years of service. I have a long haired cat and expecting a puppy soon so we will see how these units handle the pet hair/dander/odor. I cooked fish this evening and ran the unit on turbo for about 20 mins, and when a family member returned they said they couldn't smell the cooked fish anymore. So that's another win so far!

Hands Down Best Air Purifier on the Market Today – STILL!
3-Year Update: I am coming up on 3 years of owning my Everest Air purifiers and still have no complaints or issues! I've moved since I had them in my last apartment, now I have one downstairs in my entry area and one upstairs in my living area - still the same performance and clean, fresh air! I still have people come over and ask about the purifiers, just because they look sleek, and they are curious about them. A few have purchased their own and feel the same as I do. Still would recommend them 3-years later! --- 1-Year Update: I've had 2 Everest Air units in my 1-bedroom apartment for a little over a year now and thought I'd come back to update. All in all, I can say this is still a 5-star product and still one of the best on the market. Everything I said originally still is true to this day. No issues whatsoever to report with either unit. The one and only negative thing I can possibly find is the cost of the replacement filters, which are $99 each, and never seem to go on sale. I have to change both filters pretty much twice a year. The first change I did I tried an off-brand that was less than 1/2 the price, but they did not fit the unit quite right and left a gap, and noticeably did not perform as well. When I just changed them a few days ago I bit the bullet and spent the $200 on the real filters and it was nice to have them fit snugly into the machines. --- Original Review: Love my Levoit EverestAir! I researched air purifiers for over a month, trying to determine which had the best performance, quality filter, and lots of modern features. I watched hours of video reviews, sorted through articles, and evaluated each, including Levoit, of course, Dyson, Mila, Molekule, Coway, and Blueair, just to name the most popular that I looked at. When it came down to it, the Levoit EverestAir has the best of what I was looking for – so much so that I just ordered a second one to put in my bedroom! FILTRATION: Like another reviewer mentioned, starting at the filter and then working your way back is best, and the filter on this thing is a beast! It is massive and has a large amount of carbon pellets that you can actually see. Many other brands use a tiny sheet of carbon that does almost nothing to capture VOCs or odors, but Levoit packed a ton of carbon pellets into this filter. Plus, the laser air quality monitoring is the best you can get. It reacts almost immediately, maybe a 5-10 second delay, to any change in the air quality. I notice that it kicks up right when I expect it to. DESIGN: It is definitely not a "small" machine, but it also isn't the largest. It is sleek and looks nice in my living room, considering it is powerful enough to clean my entire 900 sq.ft. apartment. The display gives you all of the information you need without being an obnoxiously bright touchscreen monitor. I really like that you can control the display or enable the "light detection" mode which would be great for a bedroom as it automatically lowers the fan speed and turns off the display when it gets dark. APP: The app is great, I have had a Levoit Core 200 for several years and it is still running perfectly to this day, which also uses the same app as the EverestAir. However, the main difference is the EverestAir app is PACKED with features. You can view everything you can on the machine itself, like air quality %, PM1.0, 2.5, and 10, change the fan speed or place it in auto mode, view the filter life, and turn the display on or off. PRICE: Considering some of the competitors like Dyson and Molekule can reach $800 after tax, the EverestAir is a great value! Of course the sticker shock can be a bit jarring, but overall it is 100% worth it. DOES IT HELP PURIFY: It sure does! I suffer from severe seasonal allergies in both the spring and fall, and when I was home, I did not have to take any allergy medications, eye drops, or nose sprays whatsoever and I have EverestAir to thank for that! I sleep better and my furniture stays cleaner with the particulates being filtered out of the air before they have a chance to settle. My apartment is brand new and there was a bit of construction dust still in the air, in the carpet, and on the walls, and I am confident this is keeping that at bay, too, while the carbon is absorbing any Formaldehyde offgassing from the fresh paint. THE BOTTOM LINE: If you're on the fence about ordering the EverestAir and are looking at any of the brands I mentioned, absolutely buy the EverestAir! You will not regret it.

Good but likely have a defective product?
Love the idea of this. Sound machine can be customized to different sounds and levels and times. Light brightness and coolness can be adjusted. I’m just running into this issue with it giving off a chemical like odour and making voc levels rise to toxic levels like 2000 ppb (confirmed by my air things). Doesn’t happen with my other levoit air purifiers. Hoping someone can send a replacement to see if this one is defective but I’m VERY worried as I had it running in my 3.5 month old baby’s room and only connected to the app a week later so didn’t know VOCs were dangerously rising with this on and the door closed. If I turn the unit off I don’t have this issue and VOCs dropped to 40-60ppb as soon as it was turned off and smell went away. Anyways, want to warn others incase this is a manufacturing issue. When I called levoit they just said to return throug Amazon and it seems this unit is so new they hadn’t dealt with it. Also, I’ve learned it takes unique filters, which aren’t available on Amazon or clearly on Levoit’s website.

Great unit with great performance and app support.
Really smooth and quiet operation with a well put together app which was very important to me other than actual performance and loudness of the unit. The app clearly displays the PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 currently in the air rather than the generic good, fair, poor. The unit also looks great in the room, and fits well with most decor. It is a bit large but that's just physics. It needs to be a certain size to achieve the performance it touts. A bit pricey at normal price but it comes on sale from time to time bringing the entry price way down. It remains to be seen how effective buying third party filters will be since their first party filters are quite expensive. But we shall see. All in all a great unit.
