The finish is a little duller gray than in the pictures and a little rougher on the inside (just barely) than the outside. The handles, spot welds and lid are perfect quality, no flaws. The lid handle can be a little hard to pick up when it is folded down as it fits very flush against the lid. Overall, great product, would definitely buy again.I plan to use this for lightweight backpacking and is as good of a 900ml pot as any other I have seen. If I could change anything, would be to add graduation marks in the size to help measure water.
