Did pivychord-c replace pivychord-v?  i want to purchase more of the 'v' and i keep getting redirected to the 'c' variant

PivyCord-C is for use with Standing Desk Converters (-C is for Converters), and PivyCord-V is for Variable-Height Sit/Stand Desks and Tables (-V is for Variable-Height Desks). Is it possible to add this on any side of the leg?

Yes, you can attach to the front or back side of either the left or right leg. As long as you have a 3" x 3" flat ferromagnetic surface both at the bottom (such as the desk foot, or the provided striker plate) and at the top (provided striker plate attached to the bottom of the desktop), you can install PivyCord-V. One thing to keep in mind is that the bottom and top anchor points need to be offset between 7 and 12" front-to-back (10" is optimal).
