This product is an oil that exits the pressurized container in the form of a foam which is good to get the oil onto the garage door screw drive. Put down a protective material for the garage floor to capture the dripping oil. As to performance of this product, I had recently replaced the Genie opener carriage. This product lubricated the drive I believe properly.
