I was looking for an affordable waterless diffuser for my office (so my team could benefit as well). But I worried about it growing legs. I found this for half the price of a typical waterless diffuser AND it had 4 five star ratings; I was stoked! At the beginning of November 2017 I stared using it. I was SO pleased that there was a waterless and affordable diffuser and It worked great for about 3 weeks. Mid December it started to act like the glass piece was clogged. I tried cleaning it with soap and hot water. I tried soaking it in everclear (which is how I have always cleaned my diffusers). I even bought an effervescent diffuser cleanser (which I have never done) and nothing worked! I emailed the seller 3 different times and never got a response! I even tried to put the glass piece on the base I have at home and ran everclear through it for 3 hours. It would only diffuse when I would drip EO or everclear directly on the air pump piece. Finally, I was trying to think outside the box to clean it and I got a baby toothbrush and I was brushing the piece that blows the air through (sorry I don’t know the technical term), and my son startled me, I jumped, and snapped the small piece that blows the air to the piece that pumps the oil up. I tried it again and of course it didn’t work. The oil pump piece still didn’t work either.In conclusion, yes it’s cheap, yes it’s small, yes it has 4 five star ratings, no it’s not worth it. I’m convinced that a piece of dust got stuck in it and the base wasn’t powerful enough to push it out. If it were me reading this I would say, “well you probably used oil that wasn’t true EO.” I’m here to tell you, I ONLY use EOs. To drive that home, I use the same EO in my 2 other Glass waterless diffusers with no trouble at all. Tired of diffusers acting more like humidifiers than something that disperses essential oils? This is the nebulizer you should buy.First off, it's probably the least expensive nebulizer on this site. Most of the others start at about a hundred dollars with some of them nearer fifty, but this is less than that. Second, it works great. There is no water to add. You put 10 to 20 drops of essential oils in it and it has a touch sensor button on the side you use to turn it on and off. It disperses the scent quickly and a very fine mist. It's also substantially smaller than most of these other lower cost nebulizers. You can hold it in your hand. Speaking of which, when you hold it in your hand it has quite a nice heft to it and nothing rattles around. It seems to have high build quality. The oils only touch glass.It has an audible noise when it works but it's not excessively loud.
