I've tried the package directions, but the flavour was not strong enough.In a boiling pot over the stove, boil 4 cups of water and then add 1 cup of tea mix, stir it until it boils again and add 3/4 cup of brown sugar (you can use white but for a more authentic taste use brown), then leave to simmer for 3 minutes on low heat. once that is cool strain using a strainer or if possible a cloth sifter as in my experience, using the strainer will still leave finer pieces of leaves.
