Edit: Plastic version failed in a year of use. - The new plastic version is nowhere near as nice as the previous polished aluminum version. Plastic version should really be priced much cheaper than $30. Update: the new plastic version has already melted around the LED even though the chip is running at half power (50 watts) compared to the two old metal versions I have had running at 100 watts for much longer. The setups have the same heat sinks, same COBs, and same PSUs but obviously the quality of the lens is nowhere close to the original. The "new" version is absolutely overpriced disposal junk compared to the old version that sold at the same price. The plastic version didn't start out anywhere as good (poor reflectivity) as the old metal version and it has absolutely not lived up to the old version in lifespan.
