Amazingly, I think this game holds up perfectly today here in 2013. If you don't care abut updated rosters (but you can edit them anyway) this is still a very fun game. I actually prefer it over 11, 12 and even 13. It's just more polished. Make sure you patch it if you can. I was worried Sony couldn' patch this old game, but if you put the disc in and play, it should automatically patch it up before you play. Mind you, without the patch, this game is pretty buggy, so it's pretty important you to patch it. If you need to patch, I recommend doing it on auto. Setup your auto patching in the system settings of the PS3 and let it do automatically. I have mine to setup autoupdates at 2am in the morning. I tried to install this patch manually and it never would complete. So keep that in mind when wanting to patch. auto is your best bet. Or doing it very early in the morning with less traffic. The game plays smoothly, graphics are great, commentary great and it's just a great playing football game. The original guys from Tiburon made this game. After it was released, they left E.A. You'll see when playing it the time they took to make this game. It's very fun.
