Do they come with stands? I am ordering as birthday cake toppers so I need to know if I can get them to stand up on a cake.

They did not come with stands. I believe they could stand on by themselves. Mine are solid enough and do stand if not played with. But they do bend. If you get a set that's not made as good it might not stand. But these or mine are great, good material, and we'll made.

how tall are the kids?

The kids are 3 1/2 inches tall and the Demogorgon is 5 inches tall.

Does the demogorgons head open and close?

The demogorgon’s head and facial features are fixed and do not move. But this furgure has been successful in moving my heart to purchase the other set where his head is fixed closed
