Easy to use, easy to clean.
Easy to use. Love the ability to walk away and let dinner make itself. The instructions seem to be for instant rice. I use regular rice and just add extra water. Works like a charm. Interior parts are top rack dishwasher safe confirmed, and the spoon that comes with it goes in with the rest of the utensils on the bottom rack, no problem.

Works well
Perfect size for one or two people. Works well, easy to clean, and it looks cool. I make all kinds of grains in this - multiple kinds of rice, quinoa, and millet and they all come out really well. Comes with a rice paddle but it's kind of flimsy. (It's totally worth it to buy a sturdier one at the same time you buy the rice cooker.) Even with the flimsy rice paddle this unit is a VERY solid buy!

Very nice little rice cooker!
Very nice little rice cooker. Rice comes out sticky, but separates nicely, with little effort. Soft and fluffy, just the way I like it. Much better result than my last rice cooker! The instructions are a little wacky and over detailed, due to translation. It's actually pretty simple to use, though.

Easy to use but liquid spills out lots of cleanup.
It was so easy to use! Felt much less stressful than the stovetop method. BUT a big problem is the making of the 4 cups output. For the 2 cups output it was perfect but not enough rice for me and my daughter. So we followed the instructions to make more the next time. But about 5 minutes before it was done cooking, liquid started bubbling and oozing out the top black round vent area. It was a mess as it dribbled down the device and into the mechanics & plug (see video). Lots of cleanup on the counter and then best to just let the starch dry and then wipe clean later. But still…I don’t want to deal with this just to make the larger portion. And we followed the directions exactly because there are easy steps and lines to measure the rice and water in the inner pot. So I hope the manufacturer fixes this. Also, manual says 25 minutes to cook…it’s more like 27-30 minutes FYI. The rice was a great texture and flavor. The warmer setting is perfect as it stayed warm without drying out or sticking to the inner black pot. It’s cute size, fits well on counter, lightweight. Easy to clean the internal parts if you follow directions.

SUCH A CUTE AND USEFUL APPLIANCE!!!
I fell in love with this rice cooker the moment I saw it on Amazon. The dark blue color with the gold trim is absolutely beautiful and makes it look so much more high-end than your typical kitchen appliance. It’s honestly one of the cutest things on my counter and doesn’t feel bulky or out of place at all. This is actually my first rice cooker, and I wanted something simple for making rice, quinoa, and similar meals more regularly with my busy schedule. This has been perfect for that. It comes with everything you need—a rice paddle, measuring cup, and instructions—and it’s very easy to use. What I really like is how simple the operation is. You just plug it in, add your rice and water, close the lid, and push the lever to start cooking. The mechanism is smart too—it won’t activate unless there’s weight inside from the rice and water, which is a nice safety feature. It runs automatically and cooks for about 30 minutes, so there’s no need to mess with timers or settings. When you first get it, it does recommend running a cycle with water to remove any manufacturing smell, which I did. That step worked perfectly and made sure my first batch didn’t taste like anything but fresh rice. Another huge plus is the size. It’s compact, lightweight, and super easy to find space for on the counter, which is great if you don’t have a lot of room. Overall, I absolutely love this rice cooker. It’s simple, reliable, aesthetically pleasing, and perfect for everyday use. Definitely worth the money and a great addition to a busy lifestyle!

Great cooker for the price
Easy to use, clean, and wash... very compact making it counter top friendly without the risk of knocking things over or getting in the way of cooking. Only complaint with this product is it not having an off switch/mode with this model meaning I have to unplug it after every use but that's my bad for not reading the description carefully. All in all great product love the design I wish they did offer a slightly larger option for feeding a family of 4 and up, but for my needs it works just fine feeding 2 to 3 people.

Removable insert makes cleaning easy
I love this cooker. I can also confirm that it will automatically shut off in case of overflow. I had to step outside for a pick up and in just a few minutes, the oatmeal I was cooking overflowed. It was a bit of a mess, but it definitely shut off before more damage could be done. Even after that, makes great rice all the time. It’s not heavy, has a removable insert which makes cleaning very easy. Definitely recommend it if you want something small but consistent.

Cute but Messy
Super cute rice cooker. My complaints are that it shoots gooey rice water everywhere especially if you are making 2 cups of rice instead of 1 and it is impossible to clean everywhere it shoots the water on the interior. It has a sticker says not to cover vent - which makes sense but then there's gooey water all over your counter. It sends the water on the interior as well, all the way to the heating element and around the rim. It was a great value and is functional. The design just needs a bit of work.

Compact, efficient, quality rice cooker, easy to use and clean.
I love this little rice cooker! It makes perfect rice and quinoa! It is simple to use and easy to clean. My only “complaint” is if you plug it in it automatically turns on to “warm”, so if you’re puttering around not paying attention to making rice it sits heating up. Small flaw, but I am learning and I would recommend it to the people who want a stylish effective rice cooker for the casual rice consumption family. (I’ve been told if rice is a staple to your every day, there are other “tip of the line” cookers for “rice snobs”) This one is great!

Fantastic, compact, essential
Bought this on a hunch and it has become a required kitchen essential. The instructions are awful, the markings on the cups are terrible. But once you get past that, the engineering of this little capsule is amazing. It's about the size of a football (a real football, not a USA gridiron handegg). 1. You use the smaller plastic cup to measure - about 160mL per person, but no more than 350 mL of rice (so 2x160 mL). Pour this dry rice into the metal canister. Ignore the "1//2" labels on the metal canister. 2. You wash this rice with clean tap water (must be potable water of course) until the water is clear. 3. Pour out the excess water you used to wash the rice, but take care not to lose rice! It's ok if there's "extra" water. 4. Pour the same amount of "cleanest" water into the canister with the wet rice - so if you're doing two people, serve 2x160 mL. You're copying the same amount of rice with water. The water level should be a little bit (10-20mm) above the rice level. Again, ignore the markings on the side of the canister. 5. Close the lid, and push down the lever so it's on "cook". This will take about 15-25 minutes, based on a lot of factors in your house /kitchen: humidity in the air, temperate in your house, elevation (things will heat up differently if you're at an elevation of 1km versus sea level!), etc etc. 6. The switch will flip up to "warm", which is the default state. There's no loud "DING" or anything, it'll be just ready and waiting for you after the switch flips itself up! That said, you do need to troubleshoot for your own taste, size, and type of rice (see #5!) - you might need more rice, or more water depending on how squishy or full you want your rice. Different rice types will also give really different rice results! You can also use stock instead of water. Once it's done you can see the useless markers on the canister - they tell you the "full finished" rice capacity. Which is useless - you want the initial ingredient size! So you need the separate cup to measure the 160 mL. Oh well. A final important point - the canister is nonstick, so ANY scraping will damage it and cause problems. The canister when you close it is also completely sealed, so if it's any bit wet it could grow bacteria! Make sure after you wash it that it's bone-dry. I put the power cord's metal prongs inside the plastic cup, and then that inside the steel canister. Then it's a super portable powerhouse that I can store anywhere. You will save $$$ since rice is SO expensive at restaurants but SO cheap at stores - you'll be able to try different types (especially sticky/glutinous/"sweet" rice which is my fave (it all just means sticky and clumpy). Anyways, the _only_ major problem I had is the lid opener button doesn't work properly - you need to push up on the lid, then the button works. Otherwise, on mine, the button to open doesn't do anything.

Autocuiseur
